Engineer Position in the NMR Biomolecular Group in Strasbourg
A three-years engineer position is available in the NMR Biomolecular Group of the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC) in Illkirch (near Strasbourg), France.
The research project is focused on the study of RNA/protein interactions. In particular, we propose to develop a combined Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and spin labeling approach for the structural and dynamics studies of RNA/protein complexes. The engineer to be recruited will be in charge of proteins expression and purification, RNAs synthesis and purification, and spin labeling. Knowledge of NMR would be appreciated.
The successful candidate will have access to a fully equipped laboratory for the preparation of proteins and RNAs samples. The laboratory also holds three NMR spectrometers equipped with cryogenic probes (600 MHz and 700 MHz) and with a TXI probe (500 MHz).
Candidates must hold a Master or have a two-years significant experience in Molecular Biology. Applications should include CV, statement of interest and references.
