The prospective candidate will work on a project where the structural basis of highly selective interactions between a membrane-anchored polypeptide and lipids are studied using a variety of biophysical approaches including optical-, multidimensional solution- and solid-state NMR spectroscopies. Sample preparation will be performed by chemical and biochemical methods on-site and/or in collaboration with our German partners on the project.

The candidate should be open to intra- and extramural collaborations and highly motivated to acquire skills and knowledge on biophysical and /or biochemical approaches as well as peptide synthesis.
