A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Arizona, Tucson in
the field of protein and membrane biophysics. The main focus of the project
will be on the structural transitions and on membrane interactions of proteins
that are associated with neurodegeneration, e.g. Parkinson's or Alzheimer's
diseases. Practical expertise in protein expression and purification will be
essential. Experience with analytical techniques such as fluorescence,
circular dichroism, NMR spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy would be very
