Postdoctoral Research Associate in Biomolecular NMR at Hamilton College
Hamilton College is seeking applications for a postdoctoral research associate in chemistry starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities include research on membrane-active peptides using NMR and other biophysical techniques. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field and experience with protein purification and biomolecular solution and/or solid-state NMR spectroscopy. A commitment to supervising undergraduate research projects is preferred. Experience with protein expression is desirable. Opportunities exist for mentored teaching.
The department of chemistry, which is hosted in a new state-of-the-art facility, is equipped with a Bruker 500 MHz spectrometer. Annual full-time salary range is $36,000-39,000.
